‘Thailand Week 2018’ a four day trade show, will start from April 23 to 26 at a Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
Minister Counselor (Commercial) in Thai embassy in Dhaka, Suebsak Dangboonrueng at a press conference held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, said the 16th edition of the event will aim to help expand trade relations between Bangladesh and Thailand.
The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand and Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka will host the event together in two phases.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will be chief guest of the event.
This event is an effort of the Royal Thai government to expand the opportunities to the business communities of both countries and it will strengthen the economic ties.
45 companies from Thailand and 33 companies from Bangladesh will import Thai products and work as agents of Thai companies in the fair.
Other products like auto parts, industrial equipment and hardware, tropical fresh fruit, food, beverage, house ware, gift and decorative items, baby products, garment, footwear, health and beauty products will be showcased in the fair.
