The summit was aimed to facilitate greater private investment between Japanese and Bangladesh companies.
Haison International Ltd, a private investment management and advisory firm of Bangladesh organized ‘Japanese investors B2b partnerships 2018’ in partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Tokyo.
A press statement said, the summit was aimed to facilitate greater private investment between Japanese and Bangladesh companies.
Top leading Japanese companies were invited to meet 9 leading Bangladeshi companies and to explore investment opportunities in high-growth sectors. Japanese companies including Nippon Steel, Deloitte, NEC, Sojitz Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Sumitomo, ITO Corporation and other big corporations were present for the meeting.
The Bangladeshi assemblage had discussions with their Japanese equivalents. These Bangladeshi companies were also present at the partnership summit : A K Khan & Co, Conveyor Logistics, TSI (Trade Services International), Amex Knitting & Dyeing, , HNS Automobiles Joint Venture and other potential partnerships in Special Economic Zone & Ports, Textile, Logistics, Automobile sectors, Quality Control Inspection and Management Consulting, Synergies Sourcing and Pacific Quality Control Center discussed private investments.
